The knowledge component of the RBWH Safe Sedation programme (REdI). Seven adaptive modules follow one patient from booking to debrief. Each module opens with an optional diagnostic: show what you already know and skip ahead, or work through it with scenarios, a titration simulator and a live monitor. Complete all seven to finish.

This course does not credential you to sedate. You also need current Advanced Life Support and the face-to-face Safe Sedation course, including simulation.

Package: Fundamentals of Safe Sedation eLearning v1.0 (3 November 2026), SCORM 1.2. Content source: Course Resource Manual v2026.1.

The online module takes about 30 minutes and ends with a short knowledge check (pass mark 80%).
